The recent visit of the District Rotaract Representative  Rtr. PP Sathma Jayasinghe, to Rotaract Club of SLIIT sparked a wave of inspiration and motivation among its members. The General Meeting and the Meeting of the Board of Directors were graced by her presence.

The General Meeting of March held on the 30th  kickstarted with President Rtr. Manisha Alwis’s showcased the club’s dedication and achievements. The Secretary, Rtr. Nivasheni’s comprehensive Monthly report and meeting minutes  laid the groundwork for discussions on future endeavours. The meeting was further enriched with the presence of the heartwarming presence of over 100 Rotaractors who testified to the undying fellowship of RACSLIIT.

The highlight of the meeting was DRR Rtr. PP Sathma Jayasinghe’s address, shed light on Rotaract’s rich legacy and core values of Leadership, Service, Fellowship, Integrity, and Diversity. Commending the Rotaract Club of SLIIT for its stellar performance within the district, the DRR appreciated members for their hard work and urged them to persist in their endeavours.

In the subsequent board meeting, DRR Rtr. PP Sathma Jayasinghe provided invaluable insights into signature projects, club finances, and the annual report, reinforcing the club’s commitment to excellence under her guidance. The Directors were also obliged by the chance to openly discuss the challenges they face in their venture to serve the community. 

The visit of DRR Rtr. PP Sathma Jayasinghe truly catalyzed the Rotaract Club of SLIIT, empowering its members to continue their impactful journey of service and leadership. We thank her for her immense support for the progress of our club.
