On the 19th of August 2013, the Rotaract Club of SLIIT was established under the philanthropic patronage of the Rotary Club of Battaramulla, with the aspiration of rendering social services to the community through the collective efforts of the undergraduates at SLIIT following various degree programs in Information Technology, Business Management, Engineering, Law, Psychology, Nursing and much more.
Rotaract Club of SLIIT is a club which has ventured in to different aspects of social mechanisms in the country through their tenacious work and boasts of rich experience in diverse social areas. The Rotaract Club of SLIIT has performed exceptionally well in the past Rotaract years, having won more than 90 awards, including Most Outstanding Club of the Year 2022-23 and many other awards in past ten years. Despite its short tenure, the club has been able to attain greater heights.

Rotaract Club of SLIIT always affirm in “Yes I can!” where we are proud to be a Rotaract Club which not only empowers the spirit within the board or the members but also the students including all Sri Lankans’ to engage and give their tremendous effort to collaborate in our projects by being a memorandum to thy earth.
In peace and harmony assisting the adult and the youth, the Rotaract Club of SLIIT will thrive harder to achieve adamantine outcomes in the future with great honesty, honor, and dignity representing all the undergraduates of SLIIT, the well beings of Sri Lankan Society and most of all the eminent culture with its traditions within the Pearl of the Indian Ocean, in a humble yet ambitious endeavor.
