As the sunrise painted the sky with promise, the 34^th Rotaract District Assembly unfolded at Waters Edge, with a gathering filled with hope and achievement. Here, on the 6^th of July 2024, Rotaractors from across the expansive Rotary International District 3220 came together, their hearts and minds pulsating with the spirit of leadership and service.

Imagine a place where innovation and legacy are entwined, allowing Rotaractor’s history, present and future to coexist harmoniously. This assembly, a testament to the enduring spirit of Rotaract, not only brought an outstanding RI year to a close but also heralded a triumphant new endeavor. We, as the Rotaract Club of SLIIT, were proud to be part of the hosting clubs, along with the Rotaract Club of Colombo Mid Town, Colombo Port City, Colombo West, Kelaniya, and Panadura.

Nearly a hundred Rotaract clubs, each a source of inspiration in their communities, floated with enthusiasm. Experienced presenters and distinguished leaders took the platform, their voices echoing with stories of transformation and impact, igniting fires of passion for service in every heart present at the ceremony.

The climax of the day; the award ceremony, eagerly anticipated by all. In this moment, nerves gave way to elation as accomplishments were lauded and milestones celebrated. Our SLIIT Rotaract family shone brightly, claiming remarkable 17 prestigious awards, a testament to our dedication.

The assembly was not just a day but a timeless moment etched in to our journey. It reaffirmed our resolve to forge ahead guide by the spirit of service and the unwavering belief that together we can achieve extraordinary feats.

As the day ended on this unforgettable day, we left with hearts full of pride and humility, carrying with us the torch of SLIIT Rotaract legacy.
