Change has always been, and will continue to be, a constant part of life and an integral part of growth. As we prepare to transition to a newly minted board of officials led by Rtr. Jayod Perera for the RI year 2024-25, we stand at the brink of a promising new chapter for our organization.

This transition represents not only a shift in leadership but also represents our commitment to continuous improvement and community service.

The previous board of RI Year 2023-24, under the remarkable leadership of Rtr. Manisha Alwis, faced numerous challenges and hardships. Yet, through resilience and dedication, they not only navigated these trials but emerged stronger, raising the bar for all of us. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rtr. Manisha and her team for their unwavering commitment to service.

Here at Rotaract Club of SLIIT, we serve the community, we uplift communities, we inspire communities; we have truly “SERVED TO INSPIRE“, and that mantra will forever resonate in our hearts.

As we turn our gaze toward the future, it becomes essential to harness the momentum established by our predecessors. We must remember the lessons learned and the foundations built, ensuring that we do not merely continue their remarkable legacy but also strive to elevate it further. 

Going forward, let us not forget to CONNECT—with individuals, with our community, and especially with each other. Let us EMPOWER – empower individuals, communities and empower each other to do more good to the society.
