It is with immense pleasure that I introduce a remarkable force within the Rotaract Club of SLIIT, a dynamic man who embodies the essence of service and leadership– our Vice President and Sergeant-at-Arms for the RI Year 2024-25, Rtr. Yasith Adithya!

In the world of Rotaract, where we strive to make a positive impact in our communities, Rtr. Yasith stands out as a driving force behind our club’s transformative change and meaningful initiatives.

Let’s talk about his role as Sergeant-at-Arms – it’s not just about carrying around a fancy title and looking intimidating (although he does that too sometimes, let’s be real). No, sir. A warrior in his own right, Rtr. Yasith plays a vital role in maintaining discipline, order, and respect within our club.

Armed with an ever-watchful eye and a silent aura of observation, he maintains decorum, ensuring that each member’s voice is heard and discussions are carried out with the utmost respect and courtesy. He is like the guardian angel of Rotaract traditions, always upholding the core values that define us.

But let’s not forget his role as Vice President – one that requires him to work closely with the President in shaping the club’s vision for the year ahead. With his sharp mind and innovative ideas, Yasith is sure to bring new energy and excitement into every project undertaken by our club.

Beyond his role within the club, Yasith’s love for the community shines through his dedication to service. As the Community Service Director for the RI Year 2023-24, he was a beacon of hope and inspiration not just for the members, but for the entire community. His years of experience, having navigated both the trenches and the triumphs of Rotaract, have resulted in a deep understanding of the needs of those we serve. 

We often joke that when the world goes dark, the only thing visible is his pearly whites — a testament to his vibrant energy even in the most spirited of times, and not just a dig at his complexion, which seems to make him disappear at night.

Those familiar with Yasith already know that he’s basically a walking meme at this point. His face is literally everywhere on social media, and honestly, we can’t even keep track of how many memes feature him. But hey, it just shows how much of an impact he has made in our community. 

Jokes aside, we are extremely lucky and grateful to have such a dedicated Vice President and Sgt. at Arms leading us towards excellence. 

So here’s a round of applause for Rtr. Yasith Adithya – may his passion for service and leadership continue to inspire us all!
