When it comes to bringing energy and enthusiasm to the Rotaract Club of SLIIT, Rtr. Tehan Nimsith, our Director of Membership Development for 2024-2025, is in a league of his own. Known for his boundless energy, and quirky humor,Tehan is the kind of person who can light up a room just by walking into it.

Tehan’s personality is larger than life, and so are his recruitment tactics. Whether it’s his relentless energy or his ability to charm (or scare) people into joining Rotaract, he has a knack for getting results. Some might say he’s a natural-born marketer, always ready with a pitch that’s as compelling as it is unconventional. If you’ve been approached by Tehan about joining Rotaract, you’ll know exactly what we mean—his enthusiasm is infectious, and he’ll stop at nothing to bring new members into the fold.

One of the things that make Tehan truly unique is his  belief that he is Batman. While this might sound odd, it’s a key part of his charm. Just like Gotham’s Dark Knight, Tehan is always on the lookout for new recruits, working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that the Rotaract Club continues to grow and thrive. His obsession with the penguin emoji adds a fun, playful element to his character, making him a favorite among his peers for his ability to inject humor into even the most serious of situations.

But don’t let his lightheartedness fool you—Tehan takes his role as Director of Membership Development very seriously. He understands that growing the club’s membership is crucial to its success, and he’s willing to go the extra mile to make sure that happens. Whether it’s hosting events, sending out creative invites, or just chatting with potential members one-on-one, Tehan’s commitment to his role is evident in everything he does.
