Our Barbie. Living form of “You Can Be Anything”

From managing to get into the deans list with all A’s with just 6 hours of studying to taking a challenge by joining Rotaract, she can truly be anything.

Joining Rotaract was her jump off the cliff (from her comfort zone) and as you can see, she has landed safely. Despite all the turbulent winds, here she is today, as the assistant treasurer.

This was a journey that helped her grow socially because it got her talking to more people and putting herself out there. So much so that, you can consider her a social butterfly. She already looked like one with all her simple and cute jewelleries with little butterflies or bows on them but now, she is one.

If you bump into her and she didn’t speak to you, it’s not because she’s arrogant but it takes her some time to get comfortable, and once she does, she’s one of the kindest, most supportive, and genuine person you could ever meet. What most people find endearing about her is how she always says “thank you” for even the smallest things, it’s a reflection of how thoughtful she is.

You will never miss her in a room, I guarantee that. She plays out the real life version of a slow motion K-drama female lead entrance without even realising. At her disposal, the whole atmosphere softens because of her warm and calming aura, as if the world suddenly remembered how to be gentle again.

She genuinely feels and understands other’s emotions whether its making sure no one leaves feeling worser than they arrived or dealing with conflicts with incredible maturity and empathy, the level of emotional intelligence she possesses is her gift to the world. She will say “its fine pookie” and be on her way with her smile and maybe a grape frizz drink.

Speaking about her emotional intelligence, her friends recalled this one time, they were walking out of the university when they noticed a cat was stuck on a tree, scared to get down because there was a dog trying to get to it. Most people would’ve said 'oh poor thing' and moved on. But not our Barbie. While the dog was ready for murder, he had no chance against Sanoshi, who with the help of her friends, made sure the cat got down safe. 

It was just her natural instinct to help even an animal, without needing a reason.

She proves that kindness is not a weakness, rather it’s the most beautiful form of silent strength. If you can be kind, you can be anything.

Another trait you can guess that she has from the story above is her love for animals, especially cats. Like if she could possess any superpower in the world, she would choose to be a cat whisperer. She loves cats so much that she has an adorable obsession with cat videos. You might witness her sitting in a corner with her genuine and contagious laugh echoeing as she watches some funny cat videos. I bet her cat, Ellie would be right beside her wondering what’s so funny.

(and yes the word cat is bolded entirely on purpose, its how much she loves cats)

Other than cat videos, what truly lights her up is accounting. She dives fully into the world of numbers without a care in the world. Her love for accounting matches her love for horror movies which I am warning you, don’t make the rookie mistake of asking for recommendations, you will not hear the end of it.

But you know what the real horror is: Her love for accounting.

Yup, I said it.

Now, her personality wont be complete if I fail to mention her favourite food. If she could only eat one thing for the rest of her life, it would be anything sweet or spicy. But one important rule to follow is that you must, you absolutely must grab something sweet every single day. No matter the mood.

Happy? Sweet treat. Sad? Sweet treat. Angry? Sweet treat.

Our Barbie can be anything she wants so she never hesitates to fall asleep no matter where she is or how uncomfortable she is. She makes a character shift into sleeping beauty and sleeps beautifully probably dreaming of cats or the brain rot meme she constantly uses ‘Let me knowwww let me know’ (if you know, you know)

Ithin (her most used word), she is the magic behind the scenes. She’s a master of both the books and the mood. Her Dean’s List smartness guarantees that our finances are locked in safe. Her ability to handle pressure and problems with such maturity means everything she does would be flawlessly fair and transparent. She is exactly who we want guarding our money! See, she’s a bodyguard too (even barbie can’t keep up)

Best way to end this is with an advice she often gives:

 “Be kind, even when no one notices, because it always matters.”
