Rtr. Dinuri Levanya Munidasa and Rtr. K K Gemini Sajini Biseka

When you meet Dinuri, it’s very tempting to ask how on earth do you do everything perfectly (and I am not using that word lightly). I mean, literally, anything she touches turns into gold. She’s very meticulous with her work and she would never leave things half done. This makes it so easy to depend on her so you can rest easy letting her handle any work. It’s a dream to have someone like her in your corner, after all, she’s the standard of perfection

Her aura screams calm. Speaking to her instantly puts you at ease. She has become the anchor in our chaos. She’s like iron man when presented with a conflict, she will tackle it with so much grace that it will leave you questioning if anything fazes her. That quiet demeanor she has isn’t really quiet in definition. Neither is it distance. It’s thoughtfulness and observation.

She shows that power is not always loud in noise or words, but loud in action.

If you drop a problem in the group chat, she will show up in a flash, ready to help. The best part is that you will never have to worry because she doesn’t have it in her systemto judge you so instead she will truly listen to you, critically and low key emotionally assess the situation for you and find the right words to get across any advice in a strong and sincere manner. That’s what makes her so genuine.

She has also gained the title true sight, which is the superpower to be able to see people for who they really are, beyond appearances and mere words.

The single most valuable lesson you can learn from who Dinuri is to love yourself regardless. She has never voiced it out but she didn’t have to, because everything she did was woven with self-love to the point that it became a core lesson for everyone around her. She has understood self-love long before it became a trend.

Even when no one is watching, she’s pretty much the same person. Confident? Check. Calm? Check. Healthy amount of self-awareness? Check.

However, there was this one time where her calm personality took the back seat.

At a concert, she tripped and fell 4 times down a slippery, crowded staircase so it was her trying to stop herself from falling but also stopping herself from pulling everyone down with her. It left everyone in stitches but it proved that she’s human after all.

To decode her, you would have to play her mix of comfort and emotion aka her playlist which consists of Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Ridma Weerawardhane, and Dhanith Sri. She lights up the room with excitement when she recommends a new good song and everyone seems to like it too! Competing with her love for music is her comfort show: Friends. I mean even music has to bow down when it comes to Friends, right?…too iconic

What I love most about her is her Jade coded outfits (if you don’t get the reference, what kind of a childhood did you have?). If the world runs out of black coloured clothes, check her closet. And also, more importantly, if the world runs out of “Parippu/Paruppu/Dal”, check her cabinets.

With her perfect touch and her gift for creative writing (her poems from school are proof), you can guarantee that this position hasn’t met anyone more perfect to hold it.

But you can’t take off without two wings. You need one for grace to bring perfection and one for velocity to bring the party.

The party begins when Rtr. K K Gemini Sajini Biseka walks in and the camera flashes go insane capturing a million dozen pictures that eventually floods the group chats as stickers. She’s so awesome that people are obsessed with her.

Most of us know her as Gemini. A beautiful name that you are bound to mess up (terribly!)  by mispronouncing it as the star sign or the AI bestie or something far worse. It’s a canon event so whenever she introduces herself in a place, we fall in laughter like dominos. It’s GAYMINI, she would quickly correct you with a smile that’s as constant as her energy.

It’s that smile she displays, no matter the occasion or mood, whether its happiness, sadness, anger, or frustration that has become a staple of who she is.  

Her infectious vibe makes her the best dancing partner ever so you don’t have to look any further if you need one. This queen gets fully invested in any music, you will even find her dancing and singing along to the music in advertisements! So beware, you will not be able to resist the urge to join her because that energy she emits is contagious.

While her default is her, vibing, she can switch just as fast as she can switch moves. Serious Gemini is a whole other world. She is capable of staying organised while multitasking a million different things but still getting every single one of them done.

However, you can expect 355 calls and texts from her because, bless her heart, “gaymini” unlike “gemini (AI)” cannot make decisions on her own! It’s her worst nightmare.

She will even pull you into overthinking a slightly harsh text followed by 300 repetitions of “ane mang ehema kiyana eka waradida kiyanna” (Is it wrong if I say like that?).

It’s a struggle that’s so endearing because it is evidence of how patient she is. She is the most patient person you’d ever meet.

But her past co-director, Rtr. Shameena would like to make a disclaimer:

“Don’t mistake her patience for always being calm. Put Gems before an event or a presentation, and she transforms into a whole new character! The endearing bribes start flowing like “ane shameena mage sudu manika…mage lassana codi…oya meh paara gm eke updates denna mang eelaga sare dennm” (my sweet darling, my beautiful codi, you give the GM updates this time, I’ll give it next time). And while the next time never comes and she doesn’t actually “eelaga sare denna” (give it next time), it’s undeniably cute.”

Gemini is truly a person with endless potential which often leads her getting involved in way too many things filling her with stress. But she will wipe off the sweat and get to work as she panics internally. Whether she’s stressed out or not, the work will be done because she’s the queen of multitasking after all.

Her fun and lovely personality with a pint of “track panala” vibe (out of mind, in the best way!) is a rare quality these days and it’s what makes her truly appealing. Not just as a person but also as a friend. She is the ‘if you jump into the well, I will also jump’ kind of friend that your parents probably fear. But that shows her unwavering loyalty.

They may be the serene anchor and the infectious vibe, but together they form the perfect foundation for our team.
