There’s no better way to capture some great memories and to entertain everyone than by having a photo booth at your event. Everyone simply loves a photo booth and the chance to show off their perfect selfie face!

SLIIT’s Got Talent 2017; A Talent Show and a competition organized by the SLIIT Faculty of Engineering Student Community was held on the 27th of September 2017 from 6.00 pm onwards at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre. Rotaract Club of SLIIT came up with the idea of setting up a photo booth to make the event a memorable one. This fundraiser was chaired by our very own Media Coordinator, Rtr. Virajith Nanayakkara.

The awesome thing about the photo booth was that it actually created fun moments and people really came out of their shells and got creative. They queued for quite some time just to take more and more photos. It’s also amazing the level of patience and creativity that photographer Sajith Fernando and Pasindu Sannasuriya brought to the booth and it was so handy to have printouts right away.

Why not putting on a silly hat? The easiest way to stand out from the crowd! Everyone had fun in the photo booth with props matching the event and choosing which photo booth props to use was almost as much fun as getting the picture taken. We came prepared with everything from tiaras to velvety crowns. We also had glasses of all shapes and sizes. It was a simple way to add character to the photo booth photo.

The photo booth was a huge success and loosened up the event atmosphere. The best thing about the photo booth is that you can relive the best memories from the event, weeks or even years after the event by looking at the pictures and sharing them to everyone!
