Rotaract Idea Challenge introductory session

The Rotaract District 3220 Sri Lanka & Maldives, partnered up with Dialog Ideamart, and brought the Rotaractors, the Rotaract Idea Challenge!

This was hosted by the Rotaract Club of SLIIT and the Rotaract Club of the Faculty of Management and Finance.

An Interactive session was held to advocate the rotaracters on the importance of digitization and how it could help one in making their dreams of becoming an entrepreneur possible. It also helped to understand how one can involve digitization in humanitarian based projects.

This event was held on the 02^nd of February 2018 at the Dialog Auditorium in Union Place. It was a 2 hour session of training for the members for a Hackathon, which is tentatively scheduled to be held in March, 2018.

Ideamart is a platform presented by Dialog Axiata PLC to developers and content providers to use the Dialog network based features via shared APIs and monetize their efforts. The platform allows developers to use features based on Idea Pro, where the scripts to APIs are shared for them to create applications, whereas, Idea Apps comprise of pre-loaded applications for a content provider. The All Apps App store presents the applications that are published for the benefit of the general public.

Dialog intends to continue to add and share more networks based APIs with the developer community and also create more templates based on such shared APIs for the use of content providers over time.

In addition, the All Apps store presents the platform for publishing Android and JAVA based Applications for developers. Dialog intends to add Windows and other OS based apps to be published over time.
