Golden Fest organized by Rotaract District 3220 happened on the 24th and 25th of March 2018 from 9am to 11pm at Green Path Colombo. Rotaractors celebrated Rotaract turning 50 in Colombo at Golden Fest with an exciting line up of performances, Open Mic sessions, Muai Thai boxing sessions, Zumba, Skating, Puppy Adoptions days, Bouncer Castle time for kids and many more games and activities. Everyone had an amazing time and experienced two days full of food and shopping.
The Golden Jubilee session of Open Mic Night happed at the Golden Fest with a showcase of our very own Rotaractors’ amazing talents in singing, dancing and poetry. The walk of celebration happed on the day two with the official theme of ‘FRIENDSHIP’ at Galle Face from 3pm onwards. Past DRRs attended the Walk which made the Golden Jubilee of Rotaract even more special.
Everyone who attended the carnival had a great time and Rotaractors shared their happy moment by writing on the Rotaract Memory Wall. Each and every one who joined the celebration of 50 years of Rotaract had a marvelous time and it was the best place to engage in Rotaract and redefine friendship.
