Movie Marathon was a fund raiser organized by the Rotaract Club of SLIIT and the chairpersons were Rtr. Duleesha Waidyarathne and Rtr. Tharoon Madusanka. This event was done under the Club Service avenue, aimed towards raising funds for the upcoming projects 2018/19 and also to increase engagement of the RACSLIIT member base. By popular demand of the student body the two movies chosen were; Avengers: Infinity War and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. To encourage more people to create social awareness of the event, we had an online contest for the SLIIT undergraduates to share the post and win free tickets.

With the participation of over 150 students the event was a remarkable success and many new students were interested in joining the club and being a part of future initiatives.
