A time for giving
The beautiful December starts with the “jingle bells” song for Christmas. Christmas is a Holy day for Christians. Devotees around the world celebrate Christmas 25th of December, as a celebration of the birth of Jesus. Also, people around the world celebrate Christmas as a cultural festival. Love and peace are at the core of Christmas. Carrying the message of love, Jesus was born in Bethlehem to the Virgin Mary and taught the world the lesson of humanity. Jesus spread compassion and love for all people, regardless of caste or creed. Even he did not hate the people who tried to put him to death.
Christians celebrate Christmas by singing Christmas carols and receiving blessings from the church. Without any deviation among poor and rich people, they share their happiness by giving gifts to everyone they can. They also make Christmas trees and decorations to symbolize the birth of their Master. Santa is an unforgettable character when delivering Christmas presents to millions of children around the world. The character Santa symbolizes St. Nicholas who was giving gifts to the poor children in the past. the character of Santa Claus, walks out the door at Christmas and shares the gift of crops with the little ones and spread the happiness of Christmas into little hearts. They sing Christmas carols and share the joy of Christmas around the world. And they share special seasonal food items with everyone.
But we should not celebrate Christmas just on December 25th. Shouldn’t we carry the message of humanity that Jesus gave to the world throughout our lives?
“Love your neighbour.”
“Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil, and cling to that which is good.”
Don’t thousands of such Bible texts teach us great lessons about life? Keep the Christmas messages of love in your hearts. Do not hate. Keep the peace. Forgive the mistakes. Learn equality. Introduce the lesson of love, the true meaning of Christmas, into little hearts in the coming Christmas. It will create a world full of love without revenge.
සීතල දෙසැම්බරය නත්තලත් සමඟ හැඩවීම ඇරඹෙන්නේම Jingle bells ගීතය සමඟයි. නත්තල් දිනය යනු කිතුණු භක්තිකයන්ගේ ශුද්ධ වූ දිනයයි. කිතුණු දහමේ ශාස්තෲන් වහන්සේ වූ ජේසු තුමන්ගෙ උපත සසැමරීම පාදක කරගන ලොව පුරා බැතිමතුන් දෙසැම්බර් 25 වන දින නත්තල් උත්සවය සමරති. එසේම ලොව පුරා අන්‍යාගමික ජනතාව සංස්කෘතික උත්සවයක් ලෙස සලකමින් නත්තල සමරනු ලබති. නත්තල් උත්සවයේ පදනම වන්නේ සෑමවිටම ආදරය සහ සාමයයි. ආදරයේ පණිවුඩය රැගෙන කන්‍යා මරියතුමියගේ කුසින් ජේසුස් වහන්සේ දිළිඳු ගවලෙනක් තුළ උපත ලැබූ මේ දිනය මනුෂ්‍යත්වයේ පාඩම ලොවට කියාදෙන අවස්තාවකි. ජේසුස් වහන්සේ උසස් පහත් බේද නොසලකමින් සියළුම මිනිසුන් වෙනුවෙන් දයාව ආදරය පැතිරවූහ. අවසන කුරුසිය මතදී පවා තමන් වහන්සේ මරණයට පත් කළ මිනිසුන් ට වෛර නොකළහ.
නත්තල කිතුණුවන් සමරන්නේ දේවස්ථානය තුළ නත්තල් ගීතිකා ගයමින් ආශිර්වාද ලබා ගනිමිනි. දුප්පත් පොහොසත් භේදයක් නොමැතිව හැකි සියළු දෙනාට තෑගි ලබා දෙමින් සතුට බෙදාගනිති. එසේම නත්තල් ගස් හා ගවලෙන් සාදමින් තම ශාස්තෲන් වහන්සේ ගේ උපත සංකේතවත් කරති. තෑගි බෙදාගැනීමේදි අමතක නොකලහැකි චරිතය නම් නත්තල් සීයායි. අතීතයේ දුප්පතුන් වෙනුවෙන් තෑගි ලබා දුන් ශාන්ත නිකලස් මුනිවරයා සංකේතවත් කරමින් නත්තලේදී දොරට වඩින නත්තල් සීයා චරිතය කුඩා දරුවන් සමඟ තෑගි බෝග බෙදාගනිමින් නත්තලේ නැවුම් ජීවය කුඩා හදවත් තුළට ඇතුලු කරවයි. ඔවුහු නත්තල් කැරොල් ගී ගයමින් නත්තලේ සතුට ලොව පුරා බෙදාගනිති. නත්තලේදී හදන සුවිශේෂ කෑම බීම සියළු දෙනා සමග බෙදාගනිති.
නමුත් අප නත්තල සැමරිය යුත්තේ හුදෙක් දෙසැම්බර් 25 වැනිදා පමණක් නොවේ.ජේසුස් වහන්සේ ලොවට දායාද කල මනුෂ්‍යත්වයේ පණිවුඩය අප අපේ මුළු දිවිය පුරාම පවත්වාගත යුතු නොවේද?
“අසල්වැසියාට ප්‍රේම කරන්න.”
“ප්‍රේමය වංචා රහිත වේවා. නපුරට පිළිකුල්කොට යහපතට ඇලුම්වෙන්න.”
වැනි වූ සුවහසක් බයිබල් පාඨයන් අපේ ජීවිතයට එක් කරගත යුතු මහඟු පාඩම් කියා දෙනවා නොවේද?
නත්තලෙන් ලැබෙන ආදරයේ පණිවුඩ හදවතේ රඳවා ගන්න. වෛර නොකරන්න. සාමය පවත්වාගන්න. වරදට සමාව දෙන්න. සමානාත්මතාව ඉගෙනගන්න. එළඹෙන නත්තලේදී නත්තලේ සැබෑ අරුත වන ආදරයේ පාඩම පුංචි හදවත් තුළට ඇතුලු කරන්න. පලිගැනීම් වලින් තොර ආදරය පිරුණු ලෝකයක් තනන්නට මං ගන්වනු ඇත.

கிறிஸ்மஸிற்கான “ஜிங்கிள் பெல்ஸ்” பாடலுடன் அழகான டிசம்பர் தொடங்குகிறது. கிறிஸ்துமஸ் என்பது கிறிஸ்தவர்களுக்கு புனிதமான நாள். உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள பக்தர்கள் டிசம்பர் 25 ஆம் தேதி கிறிஸ்துமஸை இயேசுவின் பிறந்தநாளாகக் கொண்டாடுகிறார்கள். மேலும், உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள மக்கள் கிறிஸ்மஸை ஒரு கலாச்சார விழாவாகக் கொண்டாடுகிறார்கள். அன்பும் அமைதியும் கிறிஸ்மஸின் மையத்தில் உள்ளன. அன்பின் செய்தியை ஏந்தி, கன்னி மேரிக்கு பெத்லகேமில் பிறந்த இயேசு, மனித நேயத்தின் பாடத்தை உலகுக்குப் போதித்தார். ஜாதி, மத வேறுபாடின்றி அனைத்து மக்களுக்கும் இயேசு இரக்கத்தையும் அன்பையும் பரப்பினார். இதற்கும் மேலாக தன்னைக் கொல்ல முயன்றவர்களை கூட அவர் வெறுக்கவில்லை.
கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் கிறிஸ்மஸ் கரோல்களைப் பாடி, தேவாலயத்தில் ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெறுவதன் மூலம் கிறிஸ்மஸைக் கொண்டாடுகிறார்கள். ஏழை, பணக்காரன் என்ற பேதமின்றி, தங்களால் இயன்ற பரிசுகளை அனைவருக்கும் வழங்கி மகிழ்ச்சியைப் பகிர்ந்து கொள்கின்றனர். அவர்கள் தங்கள் எஜமானரின் பிறப்பைக் குறிக்கும் வகையில் கிறிஸ்துமஸ் மரங்களையும் அலங்காரங்களையும் செய்கிறார்கள். உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள மில்லியன் கணக்கான குழந்தைகளுக்கு கிறிஸ்துமஸ் பரிசுகளை வழங்கும்போது சாண்டா ஒரு மறக்க முடியாத பாத்திரம் ஆகும். சாண்டா என்ற பாத்திரமான செயின்ட்நிக்கோலஸ் கடந்த காலத்தில் ஏழைக் குழந்தைகளுக்குப் பரிசுகள் வழங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். சாண்டா கிளாஸின் பாத்திரம், கிறிஸ்துமஸில் கதவைத் தாண்டிச் சென்று, சிறு குழந்தைகளுக்கு பரிசுகளை பகிர்ந்துகொண்டு, கிறிஸ்துமஸின் மகிழ்ச்சியை சிறிய இதயங்களில் பரப்புகிறது. அவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துமஸ் கரோல்களைப் பாடுகிறார்கள் மற்றும் உலகம் முழுவதும் கிறிஸ்துமஸ் மகிழ்ச்சியைப் பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறார்கள். மேலும் அவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் பருவகால உணவு வகைகளையும் பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறார்கள்.
ஆனால் டிசம்பர் 25 அன்று மட்டும் கிறிஸ்துமஸ் கொண்டாடக் கூடாது. இயேசு உலகுக்கு வழங்கிய மனிதநேயச் செய்தியை நம் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் கொண்டு செல்ல வேண்டாமா?
“உங்கள் அண்டை வீட்டாரை நேசியுங்கள்.”
“அன்பு, பாசாங்கு இல்லாமல் இருக்கட்டும், தீயதை வெறுத்து, நல்லதை பற்றிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.”
இதுபோன்ற ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பைபிள் வசனங்கள் வாழ்க்கையைப் பற்றிய சிறந்த பாடங்களை நமக்குக் கற்பிக்கவில்லையா? அன்பின் கிறிஸ்துமஸ் செய்திகளை உங்கள் இதயங்களில் வைத்திருங்கள். யாரையும் எதையும் வெறுக்காதே. எப்பொழுதும் அமைதி காக்கவும். தவறுகளை மன்னியுங்கள். சமத்துவத்தைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள். கிறிஸ்மஸின் உண்மையான அர்த்தமான அன்பின் பாடத்தை வரும் கிறிஸ்துமஸில் சிறிய பிள்ளைகளின் மனதிற்கும் இதயத்திற்கும் அறிமுகப்படுத்துங்கள். அது சிறப்பான அன்பு நிறைந்த உலகத்தை உருவாக்கும்.
