Oh, Little birdling of my heart!

On this day we part,

Naturally, I would miss you,

But it’s a fact that I will bless you

I will look at you from a distance,

my eyes won’t show any resistance,

praying for you to fly over the horizon,

Carefully avoiding vines of poison

For Oh! Little birdling of my heart,

The world beholds the cunning and smart,

Let them not tear you apart,

And let you with your innocence part.

May wisdom lead your way,

May your skies never turn gray,

May life never lead you astray,

And standing here, for you I pray…
