“An end is only a beginning in disguise.”

Annually the Rotaract District Assembly is held to evaluate the club performance and the hard work of the Rotaract clubs of RI District 3220 and to hand over the baton to a new District Rotaract Representative and a new District Steering Committee. The 2nd of July was not an ordinary Saturday for the Rotaractors. The Golden Rose Hotel in Boralesgamuwa appeared to be more delightful than any other day, with many young aspiring Rotaractors here and there. Everyone wore a smile and enjoyed the moments of meeting their old friends from the other clubs.

The Rotaract District Secretary 2021-22, Rtr. PP Thisura Ramanayake presented a detailed account of the Rotaract year 2021-22 in the Secretary’s Report and mentioned the achievements and activities of the previous year. 

The District Rotaract Representative 2021-22, Rtn. Rtr. PP Akhila Wijethunga signed out with a wonderful speech, thanking his District Steering Committee, parents, friends, and well-wishers. During his speech, he emphasized that the Rotaract is a platform for creating skillful leaders and added valuable advice to young leaders about maintaining consistency. In his remarks, he mentioned that when he started Rotaract as a general member, he could not speak in front of five people, but now he is able to address any audience. He became emotional as he addressed his fellow Rotaractors for one last time as the outgoing District Rotaract Representative.

Furthermore, the assembly was entertained by three aesthetic dancing performances: two traditional Kandyan and one Bollywood dance. The entire audience was amazed by those performances. The event also had a fun challenge called ‘Selfie with the DRR,’ which maintained the audience’s interaction.

Rtn. Rtr. PP Ahamed Hussain was collared as the District Rotaract Representative for the year 2022-23, and in his speech, he emphasized that everyone should have equal rights as humans. In society, everyone should be treated equally and given the respect and opportunity they deserve, and Rotaract is a movement full of new opportunities for young leaders. 

As Rotaractors of RACSLIIT, it was a proud moment for us since our very own Immediate Past President Rtr. Nimsara Fernando was appointed as the Joint Director Community Service and our very own Secretary 2021-22, Rtr. Randima Fernando was appointed the Joint Editor of the District Steering Committee for the Rotaract year 2022-23. We wholeheartedly congratulate them on their new journey on the District Steering Committee.

සෑම වසරකම 3220 දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ රොට්රැක්ට් සමාජයන්හි කාර්ය සාධනය සහ ඔවුන්ගේ කැපවීම අගය කිරීම සඳහා රොට්රැක්ට් දිස්ත්‍රික් රැස්වීම පවත්වනු ලබන අතර එහිදී නව දිස්ත්‍රික් රොට්රැක්ට් නියෝජිතයාට සහ නව දිස්ත්‍රික් මෙහෙයුම් කමිටුවකට වගකීම් පවරා දෙනු ලැබේ. ජූලි මස 02 වැනිදා රොට්රැක්ට්වරුන් සඳහා සාමාන්‍ය සෙනසුරාදා දිනයක් නොවීය. තරුණ රොට්රැක්ට්වරුන් සමූහයකින් පිරීගිය බොරලැස්ගමුව ගෝල්ඩන් රෝස් හෝටලය අන් කවරදාටත් වඩා ප්‍රීතිමත් බවක් ඉසිලීය. සියලු දෙනාම සිනහමුසු මුහුණින් සතුටින් කාලය ගත කළ අතර ඇතැමෙකුට අනෙකුත් රොට්රැක්ට් සමාජවල සිටින තම පැරණි මිතුරන් මුණ ගැසිණි.

2021-22 වසර සඳහා රොට්රැක්ට දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් Rtr. Thisura Ramanayake මහතා සිය කතාවේදී 2021-22 රොට්රැක්ට් වසර පිළිබඳව විස්තර කළ අතර පෙර වසරේ ජයග්‍රහණ සහ ක්‍රියාකාරකම් පිළිබඳව ද සඳහන් කළේය. 

2021-22 වසර සඳහා දිස්ත්‍රික් රොට්රැක්ට් නියෝජිත Rtn. Rtr. PP. Akhila Wijethunga සිය අපූර්ව කතාවෙන් ඉවත් වූයේ සිය සර්ව කමිටු සාමාජිකයින්ටත් දෙමව්පියන්ටත් හිතවතුන්ටත් ස්තුතිය පළ කරමිනි. ඔහු සිය කතාවේදී සඳහන් කළ කාගේත් අවධානය යොමුවූ කරුණක් වන්නේ ඔහු රොට්රැක්ට් සමාජයේ සාමාජිකයෙකු ලෙස ගමන් ආරම්භ කරන විට පස් දෙනෙකු ඉදිරියේ කථා කිරීමට තරම්වත් හැකියාවක් නොවූ නමුත් දැන් ඔහු පැමිණ සිටින තත්ත්වය පිළිබඳවයි. ඔහු සිය කතාව අතරතුර හැඟීම්බර වූ අතර රොට්රැක්ට් යනු දක්ෂ නායකයින් බිහි කිරීමේ වේදිකාවක් බව අවධාරණය කළේය.

උත්සව සභාව වර්ණවත් කිරීමට විස්මිත නර්තන අංග දෙකක් ඉදිරිපත් කෙරිණි. ඉන් එක් නර්තනාංගයක් උඩරට සාම්ප්‍රදායටත් අනෙක හින්දි නර්තන විලාසයටත් අයත් වූ අතර මුළු ප්‍රේක්ෂකාගාරයම මවිතයට පත් කිරීමට සමත් විය. 

2022-23 නව වසර සඳහා දිස්ත්‍රික් රොට්රැක්ට් නියෝජිතයා ලෙස Rtn. Rtr. PP. Ahamed Hussain මහතා පත් වූ අතර ඔහුගේ කතාවේ දී ඔහු අවධාරණය කළේ මිනිසුන් වශයෙන් සැමට සමාන අයිතිවාසිකම් තිබිය යුතු බවත් සමාජයේ සෑම කෙනෙකුටම සමානව සලකමින් නිසි තැනත් නිසි ගෞරවයත් ලබාදිය යුතු බවත්, රොට්රැක්ට් යනු එවන් වේදිකාවක් බවත්ය. 

SLIIT රොට්රැක්ට් සමාජයේ හිටපු සභාපති Rtr. Nimsara Fernando 2022-23 වසරේ දිස්ත්‍රික් මෙහෙයුම් කමිටුවේ ඒකාබද්ධ ප්‍රජා සේවා අධ්‍යක්ෂ ලෙස පත්වීමත් Rtr. Randima Fernando 2022-23 දිස්ත්‍රික් මෙහෙයුම් කමිටුවේ සම කර්තෘවරයා ලෙස පත් වීමත් SLIIT රොට්රැක්ට්වරුන් වශයෙන් අපට ඉමහත් ගෞරවයකි.

32 වන රොට්රැක්ට් දිස්ත්‍රික් පුහුණු සැසියේදී SLIIT රොට්රැක්ට් සමාජය සම්මාන හා ඇගයීම් රැසකින් පිදුම් ලැබූ බව මහත් අභිමානයෙන් ප්‍රකාශ කරමු. එමෙන්ම 2021-22 රොට්රැක්ට් වර්ෂය ඉතා සුවිශේෂී වර්ෂයක් බවට පත් කිරීමට ඔබ දැක්වූ කැපවීමත් සහයෝගයත් අපි අගය කරන්නෙමු.

ரோட்ராக்ட் மாவட்டச் செயலாளர் 2021-22, Rtr. திசுர ராமநாயக்க தனது உரையில் 2021-22 ரொட்டராக்ட் ஆண்டு பற்றி விளக்கினார் மற்றும் முந்தைய ஆண்டின் சாதனைகள் மற்றும் செயல்பாடுகள் பற்றி குறிப்பிட்டார்.

மாவட்ட ரோட்ராக்ட் பிரதிநிதி 2021-22, Rtn. Rtr. பிபி அகில விஜேதுங்க தனது அற்புதமான உரையுடன் தனது அனைத்துக் குழு உறுப்பினர்கள், பெற்றோர்கள் மற்றும் நண்பர்களுக்கு நன்றி தெரிவித்து வெளியேறினார். அவர் தனது உரையில், தான் பொது உறுப்பினராக ரோட்ராக்ட் தொடங்கும் போது ஐந்து பேர் முன்னிலையில் பேச முடியாமல் இருந்ததாகவும், ஆனால் தற்போது அவர் எங்கே இருக்கிறார் என்றும் குறிப்பிட்டார். அவர் தனது உரையின் போது உணர்ச்சிவசப்பட்டு, திறமையான தலைவர்களை உருவாக்க ரோட்ராக்ட் ஒரு தளம் என்று வலியுறுத்தினார்.

32வது Rotaract மாவட்ட பயிற்சிக் கூட்டத்தில் SLIITயின் Rotaract Club பல விருதுகளையும் அங்கீகாரங்களையும் பெற்றுள்ளது என்பதை அறிவிப்பதில் பெருமிதம் கொள்கிறோம்.

ரோட்ராக்ட் ஆண்டான 2021–22 ஐ மிகவும் விதிவிலக்கானதாக மாற்றுவதில் உங்கள் அர்ப்பணிப்பை நாங்கள் பாராட்டுகிறோம்.
