Blossom on a lily pad,
Why wilt in gray clad?
Why give up on your prime
And not make the best of your time?
The ray of hope, struck me in the break of dawn
And summoned me in the wake of morn.
I sprung up from the Waters Gray,
And to the summoner Sun, I did pray.
On the bliss of warmth I relied,
Spread my petals far and wide.
I took pride in the Sun and the Gray Tide,
Who brought me up with all their might.
However, as the day passed by,
Little did the Sun try,
To tone down it’s rays bright,
The seasons may have summoned my plight!
And thus, I wilt within your sight…
