BEYOND BORDERS, UNITED THROUGH FELLOWSHIP

The Rotaract Clubs of IEHE Bhopal and SLIIT release a Joint Bulletin celebrating a new twin-club partnership.

Some partnerships begin with a handshake. This one began with a shared belief that service has no borders. The Rotaract Club of IEHE Bhopal (RID 3040) and the Rotaract Club of SLIIT (RID 3220) are proud to present their Joint Bulletin, the story of the first chapter of their twin-club journey.

It is much more than a publication. Its pages hold a story of friendship, cultural diversity and a common commitment to service that has drawn two clubs and two countries together.

Through collaboration, cultural exchange and service projects, the clubs have deepened international fellowship and built connections that reach well beyond geography.

Follow the milestones, the shared experiences and the journey of two clubs united by a passion for service and friendship.

Two Clubs. Two Nations. One Shared Vision.

| INSIDE THE BULLETIN

The journey began on 3 October 2026 with the clubs’ first Joint General Meeting, where warm welcomes and talks of future plans opened the twin-club association. The same day, a Cultural Exchange brought Bhopal and Sri Lanka into one conversation and marked a twinning day for SLIIT, and the two presidents exchanged club letterheads as a symbol of unity and the start of a lasting bond. On 24th October, friendship turned into service with Matritva ’26, a menstrual hygiene awareness and sanitary napkin drive. The Rotaract Club of IEHE Bhopal distributed nearly 100 sanitary napkins at the Ishwar Nagar slum basti, while the Rotaract Club of SLIIT supported 23 teenage girls at the Gunasekera Child Development Centre.

What stands out in these pages is how quickly an idea became action. Within three weeks, two clubs went from a first meeting to a shared service project, with members in Bhopal and Colombo working toward the same cause on the same day. Distance did not slow them down. If anything, it gave the partnership its purpose.

This is only the beginning. The letterheads exchanged on 3rd October are a promise that more will follow: more projects, more conversations and more friendships. For two clubs that already believe service knows no borders, the next chapter is waiting.
