17th of July 2022 was a special day for the Rotaract Club of SLIIT as the club was saying goodbye to “To Enrich with Service” and stepping up for “Strive to Empower Life” while inducting the newly appointed board of officials for the Rotaract year 2022-23. This Rotaract year 2022-23 is quite special as we have passed 9 years in Rotaract at SLIIT and this is the 10th year.
The Transition meeting was started by the outgoing President Rtr. Nimsara Fernando by calling the house order. The event was followed by the national anthem, Rotaract Formalities, and the Rotaract song. Next up, was the time for Rtr. Nimsara the outgoing president’s speech to welcome the gathering. When reciting the first speech as the incoming President at the Annual General Meeting 2021 he started his speech by saying “I’m Honored” and this time too he started his speech as the outgoing President of the club by saying that “I’m Honored to be the 9th President of this prestigious club…”. In his speech, he gave valuable pieces of advice while it was heart-touching which made all of us into tears. In his speech, he highlighted a quote which was said by Mark Twain “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dogs”. He specially thanked Rtr. PP Duleesha Waidyarathne (President 2019-20), Rtr. PP Keheliya Rajaguru (President 2021-22), Rtr. Vinuri Galagoda (Secretary 2020-21), Rtr. Menuka Lakshitha (Vice President 2020-21), Rtr. Shashini Hewadewa (Director PD 2021-22), Rtr. Shandala Wasala (Director 2019-2020) and Rtr. Nadev Ravindran (Director 2019-20). Also, he thanked all the past board members and his board of officials.
After the outgoing president’s speech, next up was the Secretary’s Report for the year 2021-22. Rtr. Randima Fernando did talk about the awards and certificates that the club received at the 32nd District Training Assembly. In the Secretary’s report for the year 2021-22 Rtr. Randima gave a brief explanation of each and every project that was conducted throughout the year under the Rotaract Club of SLIIT. Throughout the Rotaract Club of SLIIT has conducted 53 projects.
- 19 projects under Community Services.
- 10 Projects under Club Services Avenue.
- 11 Project under Professional Development Avenue.
- 3 projects under International Services Avenue.
- 6 projects under Public Relations Avenue.
- 4 projects under Sports Avenue.
The most awaited moment arrived. It is none other than collaring the incoming President. The outgoing President Rtr. Nimsara Fernando introduced the Incoming President Rtr. Lathushanan Koneswara. After the preceding of collaring the newly appointed President, it was the time for Rtr. Lathushanan to address the gathering for the first time as the President of this prestigious club. After he address the members and the external parties the time was up to introduce his Board of Officials. He introduced his Executive Committee, Board of Officials, Coordinator and Team Leaders.
Rtr. Lathushanan invited the avenue Directors to give the update on their avenues so that the members are aware of the projects. It was coming to the end of the Transition meeting where the Incoming secretary for the year 2022-23 Rtr. Manisha Alwis gave the vote of thanks where she thanked the SLIIT administration and all the members.

2022 ජුලි මස 17 වැනි දා SLIIT රොටරැක්ට් සමාජයට සුවිශේෂී දිනයක් විය. සේවාවෙන් පොහොසත්ව ජීවිත සවිබල ගැන්වීමේ අරමුණ පෙරදැරිව නව නිලධාරී මඩුල්ල 2022-23 නව රොටරැක්ට් වර්ෂය සඳහා පළමු පියවර තබන ලදී. SLIIT රොටරැක්ට් සමාජය වසර නමයක් පසුකර ඇති අතර මෙය එහි දස වන වසර වෙයි.
හිටපු සභාපති Rtr. නිම්සර ප්‍රනාන්දු විසින් නව වසරේ පළමු රැස්වීම ආරම්භ කරන ලදී. ජාතික ගීය, රොටරැක්ට් විධිමත් කටයුතු, රොටරැක්ට් ගීතය ආදියෙන් පසුව Rtr. නිම්සර ප්‍රනාන්දු විසින් සභාව අමතන ලදී. SLIIT රොටරැක්ට් සමාජයේ නමවැනි සභාපතිවරයා වශයෙන් කටයුතු කිරීමට ලැබීම ඔහු ලද මහත් භාග්‍යයක් සහ ගෞරවයක් බව ඔහු සදහන් කළ අතර වටිනවා උපදෙස් රාශියකින් යුතු වූ ඔහුගේ කතාව සැමගේ නෙතට කඳුළක් එක් කිරීමට සමත් විය. විශේෂයෙන්ම Rtr. PP දුලීෂා වෛද්‍යරත්න (සභාපති – 2019-20), Rtr. PP කෙහෙළිය රාජගුරු (සභාපති 2020-21), Rtr. විනුරි ගලගොඩ (ලේකම් – 2020-21), Rtr. ශෂිනි හේවාදේව (අධ්‍යක්ෂක PD – 2021-22), Rtr. ශන්දල වාසල (අධ්‍යක්ෂක 2019-20) සහ Rtr. නදේව් රවීන්ද්‍රන් (අධ්‍යක්ෂක 2019-2020) යන පිරිස ඇතුළු තම හිටපු නිලධාරී මඩුල්ලටත් ඔහු තම ස්තුතිය පුද කළේය.
හිටපු සභාපතිවරයාගේ කතාවෙන් පසුව 2021-22 වසර සඳහා වූ ලේකම්වරයාගේ වාර්තාව Rtr. රන්දිම ප්‍රනාන්දු විසින් ඉදිරිපත් කෙරිණි. 32වන රොටරැක්ට් සමුළුවේදී SLIIT රොටරැක්ට් සමාජය දිනාගත් සම්මාන සහ සහතික පත්‍ර පිළිබඳවත් 2021-22 වසර පුරාවට SLIIT රොටරැක්ට් සමාජය විසින් පවත්වන ලද ව්‍යාපෘති පිලිබඳවත් Rtr. රන්දිම ප්‍රනාන්දු සඳහන් කළේය.
- ප්‍රජා සේවා අංශය යටතේ ව්‍යාපෘති 19ක්ද,
- සමාජ සේවා අංශය යටතේ ව්‍යාපෘති 10ක්ද,
- වෘත්තීය සංවර්ධන අංශය යටතේ ව්‍යාපෘති 11ක්ද,
- ජාත්‍යන්තර සේවා අංශය යටතේ ව්‍යාපෘති 03ක්ද,
- ක්‍රීඩා අංශය යටතේ ව්‍යාපෘති 04ක්ද,
වශයෙන් 2021-22 වසර පුරාවට SLIIT රොටරැක්ට් සමාජයේ අප ව්‍යාපෘති 53ක් සාර්ථකව නිම කිරීමට සමත්ව ඇත්තෙමු.
ලේකම් වාර්තාවෙන් පසුව සෑම දෙනාම සෑම දෙනාම උනන්දුවෙන් බලා සිටි අවස්ථාව උදාවිය. Rtr. නිම්සර ප්‍රනාන්දු විසින් නව සභාපති Rtr. ලතුෂනන් කෝනේශ්වර වෙත නිල වශයෙන් වගකීම් පැවරීම සිදු විය. ඉන් පසු නව සභාපති වරයා විසින් සභාව ඇමතූ අතර පසුව 2022-23 වසර සඳහා ඔහුගේ නව නිලධාරි මඩුල්ල හඳුන්වා දෙන ලදී.
ඉදිරි ව්‍යාපෘති පිළිබඳව සාමාජිකයින් දැනුවත් කිරීමට Rtr. ලතුෂනන් කොනේශ්වර විසින් අධ්‍යක්ෂකවරුන්ට අවස්ථාව සපයා දෙන ලදී. ඉන්පසුව 2022-23 වසර සදහා ලේකම් ධුරය හොබවන Rtr. මනීෂා අල්විස් විසින් පවත්වන ලද ස්තුති කතාවත් සමඟ සභාවේ වැඩ කටයුතු සාර්ථකව නිම විය.
ஜூலை 17, 2022 SLIIT இன் ரோட்ராக்ட் கிளப் இற்கு ஒரு சிறப்புமிக்க நாளாகும், ஏனெனில் சங்கமானது “சேவையால் வளப்படுத்து” எனும் தொணிபொருளில் இருந்து “வாழ்க்கையை மேம்படுத்த பாடுபடுங்கள்” எனும் புதிய தொணிபொருளுடன் 2022-23 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கு புதிதாக நியமிக்கப்பட்ட அதிகாரிகள் குழுவினோடு முன்னேறியது. இந்த Rotaract ஆண்டு 2022-23 மிகவும் சிறப்பு வாய்ந்தது, ஏனெனில் SLIIT இன் ரோட்ராக்ட் 9 ஆண்டுகளை கடந்து, 10வது ஆண்டிற்குள் இம்முறை அடியெடுத்து வைக்கிறது.

Rtr. PP துலீஷா வைத்தியரத்னே (தலைவர் – 2019-20), Rtr. PP கெஹலிய ராஜகுரு (தலைவர் 2021-22), Rtr.வினுரி கலகொட (செயலாளர் – 2020-21), Rtr. ஷஷினி ஹேவதேவா (இயக்குனர் PD – 2021-22), Rtr. ஷந்தாலா வாசாலா (இயக்குனர் 2019-2020) மற்றும் Rtr. நடேவ் ரவீந்திரன் (இயக்குனர் – 2019-20). மேலும், அனைத்து முன்னாள் நிர்வாகக்குழு உறுப்பினர்கள் மற்றும் அவரது அதிகாரிகள் குழுவிற்கும் அவர் நன்றிகளை தெரிவித்தார்.
வெளியேறும் தலைவரின் உரைக்குப் பிறகு அடுத்ததாக 2021-22 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான செயலாளர் அறிக்கை. 32வது மாவட்டச் சபையில் கழகம் பெற்ற விருதுகள் மற்றும் சான்றிதழ்கள் குறித்து Rtr.ரந்திம பெர்னாண்டோ அவர்கள் உரையாற்றினார். 2021-22 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான செயலாளர்கள் அறிக்கையில் Rtr.ரந்திம, SLIIT இன் Rotaract Clubன் கீழ் ஆண்டு முழுவதும் நடாத்தப்பட்ட ஒவ்வொரு திட்டத்திம் பற்றிய சுருக்கமான விளக்கத்தை அளித்தார். SLIIT இன் Rotaract Club 2021-22 இல் 53 செயற்திட்டங்களை நடத்தியுள்ளது.
• சமூக சேவைகளின் கீழ் 19 திட்டங்கள்.
• கிளப் சர்வீசஸ் அவென்யூவின் கீழ் 10 திட்டங்கள்.
• 11 புரொபஷனல் டெவலப்மெண்ட் பிரிவின் கீழ் திட்டம்.
• சர்வதேச சேவைகள் பிரிவின் கீழ் 3 திட்டங்கள்.
• மக்கள் தொடர்பு பிரிவின் கீழ் 6 திட்டங்கள்.
• ஸ்போர்ட்ஸ் பிரிவின் கீழ் 4 திட்டங்கள்.
இதை தொடர்ந்து மிகவும் எதிர்பார்க்கப்பட்ட தருணம் வந்தது. பதவி விலகும் ஜனாதிபதி Rtr. நிம்சர பெர்னாண்டோ வரவிருக்கும் தலைவர் Rtr.லதுஷணன் கோணேஸ்வரா ஐ அறிமுகப்படுத்தி பதவி கைமாற்றம் இடம்பெற்றது . இந்த மதிப்புமிக்க கழகத்தின் தலைவராக முதன்முறையாக Rtr. லதுஷணன் அவர்கள் கூட்டத்தில் உரையாற்றினார். அவர் உறுப்பினர்கள் மற்றும் வெளி கட்சிகளுக்கு உரையாற்றியதை தொடர்ந்து தனது அதிகாரிகள் குழுவை அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார். அவர் தனது செயற்குழு, இயக்குநர்கள் குழு, ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர்கள் மற்றும் குழுத் தலைவர்களை அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார்.
Rtr. லதுஷாணன், அவென்யூ இயக்குநர்களை தங்கள் வழிகளைப் பற்றிய புதுப்பிப்பை வழங்குமாறு அழைப்பு விடுத்தார். இதனால் மமூலம் உறுப்பினர்கள் வரவிருக்கும் புதிய திட்டங்களைப் பற்றி அறிந்து கொண்டார்கள்.இறுதியாக 2022-23 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான செயலாளர் Rtr. மனிஷா அல்விஸ் நன்றியுரையை ஆற்றினார். அவர் SLIIT நிர்வாகத்திற்கும் அனைத்து உறுப்பினர்களுக்கும் தனது நன்றிகளை தெரிவித்தார். இத்துடன் கூட்டம் புதிய தலைவரால் கலைக்கப்பட்டது.
