International Day of Education

The objective of education is to produce a good educated person for the country, the village and the society. Thus on December 3^rd 2018, The United Nations General Assembly announced January 24^th of each year to commemorate the role of education in contributing to global peace and sustainable development.

Its theme this year is to revive and revitalize education that was shattered by Covid-19.

The best choice for a sustainable development is to provide a good education for all. Education is also very important to find up-to-date solutions to the problems faced by the world.

When you look at education in Sri Lanka, it goes back a long way. But with the advent of the present, there is a way of weighing a person down with certificates and by word of mouth. Therefore, this system is somewhat threatening to overcome the future challenges of our country.

However, in our country as well as in the world where there is free education, there are still many who do not go to school or have to leave school prematurely. It is the responsibility of the rulers as well as all of us to intervene in this.

ජාත්‍යන්තර අධ්‍යාපන දිනය

අධ්‍යාපනයේ පරමාර්ථය වනුයේ රටට ගමට සමාජයට උගත් යහපත් පුද්ගලයකු බිහි කිරීමයි. එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ මහා මණ්ඩලය විසින් 2018 දෙසැම්බර් 03 වෙනිදා ගෝලීය සාමය සහ තිරසාර සංවර්ධනයක් මුළු ලෝකයටම ගෙන ඒම සඳහා දායක වන අධ්‍යාපනයේ කාර්යභාරය සැමරීම සඳහා සෑම වසරකම ජනවාරි මස 24 වන දින තෝරා ප්‍රකාශයට පත්කර ගෙන ඇත.

මෙම වසරේ එහි තේමාව වන්නේ Covid-19 නිසා බිඳ වැටුණු අධ්‍යාපනය යථාතත්වයට පත් කිරීම හා පුනර්ජීවනය කිරීම යන්නයි.

තිරසාර සංවර්ධනයක් ඇති කිරීමට ඇති හොඳම තේරීම සෑම කෙනාටම හොඳ අධ්‍යාපනයක් ලබා දීමය.එමෙන්ම ලෝකය මුහුණපාන ගැටළු සඳහා යාවත්කාලීන විසඳුම් සෙවීමටද අධ්‍යාපනය ඉතා වැදගත් වේ.

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ අධ්‍යාපනය දෙස බැලූ කල එය ඉතා ඈත අතීතයට දිවයන්නකි. නමුත් වර්තමානයට පැමිණීමත් සමඟ මෙහි ඇත්තේ සහතික පත්‍ර වලින් සහ කට පාඩමින් ඇති දේවල් වලින් පුද්ගලයකුව කිරමැන බලනා ක්‍රමයකි. එම නිසා මෙම ක්‍රමය අප රටේ අනාගත අභියෝග ජය ගැනීමට තරමක් තර්ජනයකි.

ඒ කෙසේවෙතත් ලෝකයේ මෙන්ම නිදහස් අධ්‍යාපනයක් ඇති අප රටේද තවමත් පාසල් නොයන හෝ නියමිත කාලයට පෙර පාසල හැරයාමට සිදුවන බොහෝ දෙනා ඇත.මෙයට යම් හෝ මැදිහත් වීමක් වීම පාලකයන්ගේ මෙන්ම අප සැමගේම වගකීමකි.

சர்வதேச கல்வி தினம்

நாட்டிற்கும் கிராமத்திற்கும் சமூகத்திற்கும் ஒரு நல்ல படித்த நபரை உருவாக்குவதே கல்வியின் நோக்கம். இவ்வாறு உலகளாவிய அமைதி மற்றும் நிலையான வளர்ச்சிக்கு பங்களிப்பதில் கல்வியின் பங்கை ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் நினைவுகூரும் தினமாக ஜனவரி 24 ஆம் திகதியை ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் பொதுச் சபை 2018 டிசம்பர் 3 ஆம் திகதி அறிவித்தது.

கோவிட் -19 ஆல் சிதைக்கப்பட்ட கல்வியை புதுப்பித்து புத்துயிர் பெறுவதே இந்த ஆண்டு அதன் கருப்பொருள்.

அனைவருக்கும் ஒரு நல்ல கல்வியை வழங்குவதே நிலையான வளர்ச்சிக்கான சிறந்த தேர்வாகும். உலகம் எதிர்கொள்ளும் பிரச்சினைகளுக்கு புதுப்பித்த தீர்வுகளைக் காண கல்வியும் மிக முக்கியமானது.
